Kaito’s customer Valmet has been on a journey to building new business out of ioT-data. Valmet is a 3,5 billion revenue company that develops and supplies technologies, automation systems, and services for pulp, paper, and energy industries. The machines Valmet produces generate millions of rows of data in a minute to provide insights into the operations and preventing problems in advance.
In this webinar, we will hear from Valmet’s Data Architect Antti Sirkka. He will go through the business case and how Valmet decided to build a data platform together with Kaito on top of Snowflake. Valmet selected Matillion as their ETL-tool and is running Snowflake on Amazon Web Services.
